-Try to coordinate, but not be matchy-matchy
-Try to envision how you are going to use these photos. If
you plan on making a wall display, think of colors that would complement the
colors of your home.
-What kind of look and feel do you want these photos to have? Do you want a vintage look? Modern? Edgy? Bright & bold or neutral & soft? Try to select clothing that aligns with your vision.
-Don’t be afraid of patterns.
-Pick one color and try to weave it throughout your whole
family’s ensemble. Example – red shoes, a red tie, a red shirt, red hat, etc.
-Layers and textures add interest to an outfit and can
easily be added or taken off. Things like hats, scarves, belts, cardigans,
jackets, ties, jewelry, etc.
-Maternity clothing should be form-fitting, so we can see
the bump!
